Acclaimed novelist Vamba Sherif, author of The Emperor’s Son (published by Iskanchi Press), is embarking on a book tour made possible by the generous support of the Dutch Foundation for Literature.
The Dutch Foundation for Literature plays a vital role in the global literary ecosystem. Its mandate is to support writers and translators while promoting Dutch literature abroad. Through grants to writers, translators, publishers, and festivals, the foundation invests in the quality and diversity of literature and contributes to the circulation of Dutch and Frisian works worldwide. The grant awarded to Sherif demonstrates the foundation’s commitment to nurturing diverse voices and stories that resonate beyond borders.
